Graduation Ringing
Today, we rang for graduation in the University of St Andrews.
We turned up at 8am to start ringing, in the pre-dawn twilight:
...and we rang for half an hour before and after the chapel service and the three ceremonies in the Younger Hall, a total of seven half-hour sessions.
In between ringing sessions there was time to practice on the handbells:
Not everyone was able to stay for the whole day until we finished at 5.30pm, so apologies to those who rang but are not in our group photo:
